Breast Lift
Breast droop (a.k.a. ptosis) is inevitable as factors such as age, skin quality, stretch, childbirth, and breastfeeding all play a role in the shape and position of the breasts. Primarily 3 types of lifts are categorized for patients based on the type of scars that are left.
Breast Reduction
Heavy and pendulous breasts are problematic and a nuisance to patients. Utilizing the same scar patterns and techniques noted for breast lift above, the major difference here is that breast tissue excision in addition to skin removal is the goal to create smaller and perkier breasts that cause less stretch and discomfort for patients.
Nipple and Areola Reduction
A nipple or areolar reduction can be combined in breast procedures in the appropriate candidates.
Breast Implant Removal
Just as placing breast implants is a very personal decision, having breast implants removed is an equally personal decision. Whether it be concerns of breast implant complications, breast implant illness (BII), removal of textured implants or Allergan Natrelle 410 implants due to recall, or otherwise, Dr. Moshrefi offers an individualized and Modern approach to breast implant removal with capsulectomy. His extensive experience in breast surgery both for aesthetics and reconstruction leaves him at the forefront of treatment options for your concerns.
Revision Breast Surgery
No procedure is perfect and some women may wish to undergo revision breast surgery whether it be from breast augmentation with implants, a breast lift, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, or otherwise. Dr. Moshrefi offers services for all of the above including the treatment of capsular contracture and implant exchange. He utilizes Modern approaches combined with extensive experience and knowledge to best address your concerns on a case-by-case basis.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast cancer is an incredibly difficult journey from diagnosis, chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and reconstruction. This is a highly personal and private time for patients. This is why Dr. Moshrefi offers a full-spectrum of reconstructive options for lumpectomy or mastectomy patients including tissue expander / implant reconstruction, fat grafting, and microsurgery reconstruction (i.e. DIEP flaps) as well as nipple reconstruction.
