Shawn Moshrefi, MD

Dr. Shawn Moshrefi is board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon trained at the prestigious Stanford Plastic Surgery program. Dr. Moshrefi is the first and only plastic surgeon in Calabasas, CA along with a second office in Beverly Hills. Dr. Moshrefi strives to provide every patient with the utmost compassion, care, and excellence to achieve a result that meets and exceeds patient expectations with the highest level of care possible. Taking time to listen, educate, and put the patient’s safety and well being at the forefront is the highest priorities of our practice philosophy and we strive to achieve that for our patients. Here at Modern Plastic Surgery, we provide head-to-toe plastic surgery including all aspects of cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Moshrefi has trained at the highest levels including a dedicated year of advanced cosmetic surgery training in the Bay Area followed by an additional advanced facial aesthetic surgery training in San Francisco, CA at the famed 450 Sutter Street building focusing on facial rejuvenation and preservation rhinoplasty.

Dr. Moshrefi is a California native born and raised in Fresno, CA. He graduated valedictorian before attending UCLA as an Honors Biology major finishing early with numerous accolades including Phi Beta Kappa and Highest Departmental Honors. From there, he went straight into medical school at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He matched into plastic surgery at the prestigious Stanford Plastic Surgery residency program. After 7 rigorous years of plastic surgery residency including a dedicated year of aesthetic surgery training, he pursued an additional advanced facial aesthetic training to master facial rejuvenation and preservation rhinoplasty. He has received an award or accolade, sometimes more than one, every year of his training.

He is now the first and only plastic surgeon in Calabasas, CA with a second office in Beverly Hills. Dr. Moshrefi is incredibly prepared and confident to provide you the highest level of care you need. We hope to meet and exceed your expectations.
